About BLF Management, Ltd.
BLF Management is a small but dynamic, experienced, and networked association/non-profit management and meeting planning company that has planned accordingly to provide clients with services well beyond what would normally be available with a company of this size. The result is a company that is flexible, forward-thinking, and client-driven, and can offer any service requested with the utmost professionalism and excellence. Now that is a winning combination!
The BLFM Story
Brad Feldman started his career in the Ohio House of Representatives, and in two small associations. He was then employed in a senior management position for the Ohio Psychological Association, and it was the outcome of this position that he founded BLF Management, Ltd. in 2000 to manage mental health seminars throughout the country. He worked very closely with Janet Pipal, PhD, consulting psychologist, on implementation of these highly-rated seminars.
While managing these seminars, Brad took a position with an association management company (AMC) as an executive director of several statewide and national associations. Soon after joining the AMC, he became vice president of the company and then made an offer to assume management of the associations for which he served.
That is when BLF Management broadened its scope and became a very successful meeting planning and association management company.
Brad successfully grew BLF Management, adding clients to the company umbrella throughout the years. At its largest, BLF Management provided executive management services to 13 association/non-profit clients. Also at its largest, BLF Management had the same number of employees.
Being committed to taking care of clients by paying attention to details and dedicating his leadership to each and every one of the association clients, Brad served as their executive director. For the largest association client who also had full-time staff in Washington, DC, Brad served as assistant executive director.
Knowing that the company's commitment to quality, caring services, and creating partnerships with all clients is paramount for the company, Brad made a difficult but key decision after ten years of growing the company to reposition it for even greater long-lasting results. That is when he decided that BLF Management truly needed to return to its roots and be that boutique AMC like it was founded. For him, continuing to grow the company wasn't defining success, i.e. quantity doesn't necessarily mean quality. Instead, for him the definition of success is being able to provide dedicated, hands-on, detailed, and comprehensive strategic co-leadership and management of associations, meetings, and other clients.
BLF Management was never meant to become a typical, average AMC. Its mission has always been and remains today to be the "best association management and meeting planning company, ever."
So if your association is looking for just another management company, then BLF Management is honestly most likely not for you. BLF Management is positioned to partner with your association for long-term success by providing you with the time, attention, and commitment to quality that all non-profit organizations deserve.
If your association would like to join just a handful of other associations that benefit from our level of excellence, then let's discuss how we can work together.
